Working Life

Is 7.10pm now, but i am still in the office...

My working hour is from 8:30am to 5:30pm. As i expected, working together with my dad is not easy. First, i have to follow his car to go and back from company, so i go at 6:30 in the morning, and back at 8pm. If i were boss, i would be very pleasure to have such hardworking employee: do OT everyday, but never ask for extra salary. So sad, i am his son.

Second, i know he expect more on me. So, is quite stress to be working with him, have to continuously improve myself everyday. For the pass 2 weeks, i have read a lot a lot of machines manual, journals, magazines, and books about aluminum and alloy. Wow, others told me that they got nothing to do in their training, but me is totally different.

But, this is a good thing isn't it? I really learn a lot so far, others than those i can get from books, i also learn the attitude from my dad, is so happy trained in this company. And my dad is considered my supervisor, so he teach me everything he knows, so good!

Mr Loh passed me a project today. Since i haven't handle any project yet, so this is the 1st one, and maybe the only one. He give me 2 months time to complete it, that means i have to pass it up before i leave. What i need to do is actually write the operating manual for a machine that was just finished commissioning, and start for mass production run. Quite challenges, hehe. Others than manual, i also can comment on that machine, or any improvement suggested. It is a good topic for me, because that machine was made in China, many improvements are required.

Recently i won't update my blog frequently, since no point to record down those boring life. Haha.

Internship

Walau, stupid computer cannot write in Chinese due to unknown reason...

Haha, today is my second day for my internship, so exciting that i can do something that is related to machines, calculations, something that i like. These 2 days i actually did nothing, but read some machines manual and guidelines, get familiar with those very big scale machines.

Melting furnace (capacity 20 tons), 2 holding furnaces (capacity 12 tons each), regenerative burner, sensor arm, molten aluminum, rolling machine, casting machine, coiling machine, recoiling machine...


So far, my only work is helps Miss Choo for recording the daily usage of natural gas, then just walking around the factory, just like a supervisor. haha. But feel weird, bcos everyone knows: dia ah seng punya anak! Haiz, i dont like it. Stressed.

Good luck to myself. Today still got plenty of free time, starts to prepare my report le.

社区服务团

我失踪了整整两个星期。。。

这两个星期，都是忙着筹备下乡。早上八点到晚上八点，有时还到十点才回家。由于筹备是在 PJ，所以就寄宿朋友家，有多不方便就不方便。工作做不完的，晚上还得熬夜赶工，不然就是帮其他股做东西。每天十二点后才睡觉，隔天五点多就得起身了。长时间这样下去，还真是会短命。

这次的下乡团，改名为社区服务团。原本的形式是家庭领养大专生，但今年改成半生活营的形式，然后我们领养小学生。就这样，我多了三位超可爱的宜弟。



硬硬撑，终于撑到星期四，下乡的第一天。原本是快快乐乐的第一天，却因十八个人迟到，一大早被协调员们洗了一轮才上巴士。活该。

今 天，是提早下去筹备的。大约十二点，我们抵达了目的地！Batu Pahat - Minyak Beku 的平民小学！各自就开始忙各自的了。我看到小学生、看到他们小小的桌椅、吵架的方式、追来追去的模样、说的废话等，都有种熟悉的感觉，怎么说这些路我也曾 走过。那里的学生还有一点很好笑 ，就是下课时会有一班学生冲出来玩扯铃！很可爱吧。

事不宜迟，和敬勇丢了书包就赶紧开工画壁画，必须赶快把那壁画完成。


画画画，吃完董事长请的夜宵继续画，三点多了才去冲凉睡觉。



第二天五点半醒，继续画！中午时分终于把它给完成了！还盖上了自己的手印。
今天是生活营的第一天，见到了我的三位宜弟，但老毛病还是一样，总不能记得他们的样子。营员共72人，第一次面对那么多的小朋友，心里是蛮激动的。

就这样忙忙碌碌的过了第二天。没什么特别事件好记录的，一是我累得半命还得晚上巡逻，三点才睡；二是准备冲凉时不小心把宜弟的内裤冲进马桶。



第三天。。。
今晚是这次生活营的重头戏，开幕+恳亲晚会+营火会，但今天大家似乎都疲态尽露，特别是联谊那无畏，真的是累坏了。赶紧安排他们去睡觉，其他人就尽量维持着生活营的活动。幸好此方法奏效，在那几位 hyperactive 的联谊的带动下，晚上的活动还算是成功，整场气氛 high 到不行。

当晚活动后，大伙儿决定马上选出下一届的协调员。在大家不清醒的状况下，我被选为总协调员。无奈。。。工作，又多了一大堆。但想想若我真的能为社会尽点绵力，就别浪费这机会。总之，会尽力做好就是了。



第四天，是最后一天了。好快啊。
在学校老师的要求下，我们这批壁画小组又开工了。就修饰一下另一下乡团在几年前画的壁画。有说有笑，这就是我们的垃圾角落。
要闭幕了，才想到我的爱心日记还没准备。其他人都是亲手做个日记本送给他们得谊弟谊妹，而我嘛却是买现成的。一是懒惰，二是对自己的手工没信心，所以还是现实点好了。其实送他们时我真的蛮不好意思的，好像很敷衍酱（其实根本就很敷衍吧），但有两位收到后竟然哭了！我真的被吓到，第一我真的认为没什么好哭的，第二我的内疚感又被加重了。

其实三天两夜生活营的结束，大家多少都有些不舍。

闭幕仪式进行到一半，我却必须提早离开，赶去巴士站回新山。真是扫兴咯，因为隔天就开工了。不能和他们一同回吉隆坡外，也没能和他们好好告别。最后想说，很高兴能认识你们！大家要常保持联络！


参加了这次的社区服务团，让我的大学生活更加的多姿多彩。
